BirdDog Introduces HD-SDI/HDMI To NDI® Convertor

April 27, 2017 by Chuck Baker

Generating huge buzz at NAB 2017 was Australian company BirdDog. Their soon to be shipping product, BirdDog Studio, is a camera input box that receives input from HDMI or HD-SDI cameras and converts the signal to NewTek NDI® and streams it to any NDI-enabled production system over IP, anywhere on your network. No wonder it received such huge buzz. ProVideo Coalition talked with Dan Miall of BirdDog about BirdDog Studio in the video above.

BirdDog Studio features:

  • HD-SDI and HDMI inputs

  • Conversion to NDI
  • Gigabit Ethernet
  • Onboard Dual-Color Tally
  • Tally Out connector
  • 5x35 LED Display, selectable Info, Tally, Multi-tally modes
